Collecting Murillo in Britain and Ireland
In celebration of the 400th anniversary of Murillo’s birth, the CEEH and the Wallace Collection coorganize a symposium where renowned scholars address the collecting of Murillo in Britain and Ireland at various levels. The seminars will be organised into three sessions: “Early Displays of Works by Murillo in Britain,” “British Collectors in Seville and Madrid” and “Artists and Scholars Travellers to Spain.”
