Monographs designed as scholarly companions to the Spanish Gallery in Bishop Auckland, one of the UK’s largest collections of Spanish artworks. Acknowledged experts in the field of Spanish art catalogue, analyse and set in context its pieces, many of which have been hitherto owned privately. Presenting original research, each title focuses on a single artwork or considers groups of works to address a specific theme, genre or medium.
