Thépaut-Cabasset, Corinne
Corinne Thépaut-Cabasset holds a doctorate from the École Pratique des Hautes Études (Paris Sorbonne). She is Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Centre for Textile Research/SAXO Institute, University of Copenhague, and has been involved in many research projects at the Musée du Louvre, the Grand Palais, the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Château de Versailles. Thépaut-Cabasset focuses on the life of European courts in the early modern period, and more precisely on international and diplomatic relations with a focus on royal and princely wardrobes, gifts and jewels, as well as the circulation, reputation and dissemination of fashion. She has collaborated on international conferences on the history of costume and contributed to catalogues at major exhibitions. She is the author of Le Sérail des empereurs turcs ou ottomans (2007) and L’Ésprit des modes au Grand Siècle (2010).
