Ramon Navarro, Artur
Artur Ramon holds a degree in Art History from Barcelona University. He combines his profession as an antique dealer and gallery owner with the dissemination of art through the media, specialist journals and conference papers. He has organised and curated exhibitions such as Manolo, esencial: escultura, pintura, dibujo at the Fundación Francisco Godia in Barcelona (2003), Smith reivindicat at the Fundació Palau in Caldes d’Estrac (2005) and Els Piranesi de Montserrat at the Museu de Montserrat (2007). He is the author of six books: Álbum Manolo Hugué (2005, with Jaume Vallcorba), Ofici d’Antiquari (2006), Los Piranesi de Montserrat (2007), Nada es bello sin el azar (2012), San Jerónimo penitente de Caravaggio (2014), and Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya: un itinerari (2015).
