Víctor de Lama de la Cruz, a tenured lecturer at the Complutense University in Madrid, earned his degree in Hispanic Studies from the University of Valladolid and gained a PhD from Alcalá de Henares for his thesis on the Cancionero musical de la Catedral de Segovia. He has taken part in many conferences and has published a score of books, including editions of classics. He was editor in chief of Arcadia de las Letras, a collection of monographs on Spanish literature, and is currently coordinator of the master’s course in Spanish Literature (MULE) at the Complutense.
