Herráez Vossbrink, Akemi
Akemi Luisa Herráez Vossbrink obtained her doctoral degree in Art History from the University of Cambridge with a thesis focused on Spanish seventeenth-century artist Francisco de Zurbarán and his reception in Latin America. After being a graduate intern at the J. Paul Getty Museum’s Paintings Curatorial Department, she was the Meadows Museum Center for Spain in America (CSA) Curatorial Fellow and the Centro de Estudios Europa Hispánica (CEEH) Spanish Painting Curatorial Fellow at the National Gallery, London, where she worked with the Spanish paintings in the permanent collection and was the curatorial assistant for the Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light and Bartolomé Bermejo: Master of the Spanish Renaissance, both of them held in 2019. Akemi has been appointed the Enriqueta Harris Frankfort Curatorial Assistant at the Wallace Collection, London.
