Flescher, Sharon
Sharon Flescher is Executive Director of the International Foundation for Art Research (IFAR) and Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning IFAR Journal. She graduated from Barnard College and has a PhD in Art History from Columbia University. Her professional career has included positions at New York University (NYU), the National Endowment for the Humanities and The Equitable Foundation. Flescher has contributed many essays and feature articles to books and periodicals, and is the author of Zacharie Astruc, Critic, Artist, and Japoniste (1978).
