María del Mar Cortés Timoner is a lecturer at the Department of Hispanic Studies, Literary Theory and Communication at the University of Barcelona and teaches at UNIBA’s master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Spanish and Latin American Literature. Her research has been focused on Spanish medieval and Golden Age literature, especially the first female authors in Spanish and Golden Age theatre. She is a member of the Institut de Recerca en Cultures Medievals.
