Bouza, Fernando
Fernando Bouza is professor of Modern History at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. His research is focused on the cultural and political history of the Early Modern Age, particularly the Spanish-Portuguese monarchy and the court of the Spanish Habsburgs, but also the history of books and reading. He is the author, among many other studies, of Locos, enanos y hombres de placer en la Corte de los Austrias (1991), Del escribano a la biblioteca (1992), Cartas de Felipe II a sus hijas (1998), Imagen y propaganda. Capítulos de historia cultural del reinado de Felipe II (1998), Palabra e imagen en la corte (2003), El libro y el cetro (2005), and Corre manuscrito: una historia cultural del Siglo de Oro (2001).
