Marta Bausá Arpón read Hispanic Languages and Literature at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She has pursued her career in the field of libraries in public posts. She has contributed to cataloguing important historical heritage collections such as the Colección Borbón-Lorenzana held in the Biblioteca Regional de Castilla-La Mancha, among others. Since 2007 she has been head of section at the Museo del Prado Library, where she manages and catalogues the historical holdings and collection of periodical publications.
