Aterido, Ángel
Ángel Aterido, who holds a doctorate in Art History, lectures at the Complutense University in Madrid and at the CEI of Fundación Ortega y Gasset-Marañón in Toledo. He has published documentary corpuses on Velázquez (2000) and Alonso Cano (2002), as well as directing the publication of Inventarios Reales. Colecciones de pinturas de Felipe V e Isabel Farnesio (2004) and the project Velázquez Digital (2011). He is the author of El Bodegón en la España del Siglo de Oro (2002) and El final del Siglo de Oro. La pintura en Madrid en el cambio dinástico (1685–1726) (2015) and has curated exhibitions such as Juan Fernández el Labrador. Naturalezas muertas (Madrid, 2013) and Settecento. Obras Maestras de la pintura italiana de los Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (Zaragoza, 2016).
