Silvia Alfonso Cabrera holds a degree in Art History from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and a master’s in Medieval Studies. She has been awarded several scholarships from important institutions such as the Department of Conservation of Drawings and Prints and the Library of the Museo Nacional del Prado, the Department of Prints and Drawings of the Biblioteca Nacional de España and the Archives and Library of the Fundación Lázaro Galdiano. She has also contributed to documenting the temporary exhibitions Años Felices. Viajes, visitas y fiestas en la casa de José Lázaro and El libro Ilustrado. Técnicas de estampación (both held in Madrid, 2016).
