Albero, María del Mar
María del Mar Albero wrote her doctoral thesis on Fisiognomía y expresión de las pasiones en los tratados artísticos españoles del siglo XVII and is a lecturer in Art History at the University of Murcia. Her research has been centred on art theory of the Modern Age, with a particular interest in the history of emotions. She is the author of a critical edition of Le Brun’s Conférences (2009). She has also studied the presence of theories on emotion in artists’ libraries and how it is conveyed through drawings and primers in Spanish Modern Age workshops, subjects on which she has published many articles.
