Isaac Ait Moreno is an associate professor at the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo, where he teaches Hispanic Art History. He holds a PhD in Contemporary Art History from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. His doctoral dissertation, published in 2012, was a pioneering study on the creation of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid. The author of numerous papers on the relationship between art and politics in Spain and Japan, he has contributed texts to exhibitions such as Somos: Diversity and LGBTQ+ cultural narratives in Spain and Japan (Embassy of Spain in Tokyo, 2022).
