The Israel Museum presents Zurbarán: Jacob and His Twelve Sons, Paintings from Auckland Castle, a series of 13 life-size paintings that have made their first trip to the United States in the most important Zurbarán exhibition in 30 years and that are on view in Jerusalem now. The project is co-organized by the Meadows Museum, The Frick Collection (first venues of this exhibition), and Auckland Castle in County Durham, England, and The Frick Collection. The exhibition catalogue has been underwritten by the Centro de Estudios Europa Hispánica and the Center for Spain in America.
