Visionary Romantics. Balke, Lucas, Hertervig ends in Stavanger with visitor numbers of almost 11,000
Visionary Romantics. Balke, Lucas, Hertervig, which ended yesterday at Stavanger kunstmuseum, has attracted 10,950 visitors since its opening in September. The exhibition, featuring more than 60 works from Norwegian and Spanish collections, was curated by Knut Ljøgodt and Carlos Sánchez Díez, also responsible for the catalogue, an extensively illustrated volume that is available in Spanish and English. The exhibition had previously been on view at the Museo Lázaro Galdiano, Madrid, and was shortlisted in NRK as one of this year’s most important art events by the national broadcaster’s art critic Mona Pahle Bjerke.
