The prestigious Hispanist Jean Canavaggio presented Les Espagnes de Mérimée at the Biblioteca Nacional de España on Tuesday 29 November. The institution’s director, Ana Santos Aramburo, opened the presentation, which was also attended by Carlos Alberdi, director of Culture and Institutional Relations. The book has been published with the support of the Biblioteca, the Museo Nacional del Romanticismo and the Museo de Historia de Madrid.
