The French Academy has awarded Jean Canavaggio the 2023 Critics’ Grand Prize for his entire oeuvre, well-deserved recognition for one of the greatest international Hispanists. Canavaggio, a member of CEEH’s advisory committee since its establishment in 2005, has published Les Espagnes de Mérimée (2016) and Diccionario Cervantes (2020) with us.
