Elizabeth Boone, author of España en América. Construcción de la identidad en las exposiciones internacionales (1876-1915),  jointly published in 2022 by CEEH and CSA, explores the main topic of her book in a lecture entitled «La presencia de España en las ferias universales en el s. XIX». Boone has been one of the experts invited to the first conference America & Spain 250, organised by the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute and the Fundación Ramón Areces in Madrid on 23–24 May. Laura R. Bass and Richard L. Kagan, both well represented in the CEEH catalogue, take part in this transatlantic forum as well.
