The German Record Critics’ Award, one of the most prestigious in Europe, is given by a jury made up of more than 150 specialised critics from German-speaking countries. The winners are chosen from a selection of the best CDs released in recent months on the basis of artistic quality, musical repertoire, presentation and sound quality. José de Baquedano. Música para la catedral de Santiago has been nominated for the Choral music and Early music and La Grande Chapelle is the only Spanish orchestra, choir or ensemble to achieve this distinction.
