Dibujos de Luis Paret y Alcázar (1746-1799) at the Biblioteca Nacional de España
In this exhibition the Biblioteca Nacional de España and the CEEH bring together the most notable examples of the graphic work of Luis Paret y Alcázar (1746-1799), one of the most interesting figures on Spain’s eighteenth-century art scene. More than eighty drawings belonging to Spanish and foreign collections both public and private hang alongside paintings, prints, books, and manuscripts. The show has been curated by Alejandro Martínez Pérez, the author of the catalogue raisonné of Paret’s drawings that accompanies this exhibition.
