The CEEH sponsors an article in Print Quarterly on a drawing connected with Spain
Founded in 1984, Print Quarterly is the leading international journal dedicated to the art of the print from its origins to the present.
Rhoda Eitel-Porter, former curator and department head of prints and drawings at the Morgan Library & Museum, is Editor of Print Quarterly. Her research focuses on Italian art 1400 to 1700. In “Lelio Orsi, Antonio Pérez and The Minotaur Before a Broken Labyrinth” (vol. XXXIV, n. 1, March 2017, pp. 11-19) she relates a drawing from the Morgan Library & Museum attributed to the mannerist painter Lelio Orsi to printed personal emblems for Antonio Pérez (1540–1611), secretary to king Philip II of Spain.
