The National Gallery, London presents Bartolomé Bermejo: Master of the Spanish Renaissance (12 June – 29 September 2019), curated by Letizia Treves. Six masterpieces by this painter never seen in the UK before are showcased alongside Saint Michael Triumphs over the Devil, allowing visitors to admire Bermejo’s technical mastery and visual world. As in Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light, on view at the same museum through 7 July, the publication accompanying this exhibition has been underwritten by the CEEH.
