Huidobro Salas, Concha
Concha Huidobro Salas holds a degree in art history from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a qualified librarian with civil servant status. She previously worked in the department of drawings and prints of the Biblioteca Nacional and was head of the prints section. She is currently librarian emeritus of the institution. She has curated several exhibitions of prints, especially those of the German, Flemish and Dutch schools by artists such as Dürer, Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck, among others. She has written monographs on various aspects of printmaking in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, both alone and with others. She also has an extensive background in the practice of sculpture and printmaking and has taken part in several group exhibitions of these arts.
