Carrasco Ferrer, Marta
Marta Carrasco Ferrer holds a doctorate in Art History, has been tenured professor of Art History at the Camilo José Cela University since 2001 and a member of the Consejo Superior Europeo de Doctores (CONSEDOC) since 2011. She has pursued her career in various fields: as a curator of international exhibitions, Ex Roma Lvx (Madrid, 1997), Ex Roma Lvx in Hispaniam (Rome, 2000); and as a member of the curatorial committee of Carolvs (Ghent, Bonn, Vienna and Toledo, 2000–1), among others. She has considerable experience in the museum sector, gained at the Museo Nacional del Prado and the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas. She has published more than forty books and articles on antiquity and the sixteenth century, has directed courses and seminars, and has taken part in various international conferences.
