The international conference “Poder y saber” is part of a research project on “The library of the Count–Duke of Olivares: a mirror of power, patronage, and Baroque culture in Golden Age Spain” directed by Prof. Jeremy Lawrance of the University of Nottingham and funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) of Great Britain.
The Fundación Lázaro Galdiano and the Royal Library of the Royal Palace are hosting this conference in Madrid.
