The Diccionario Cervantes, now translated into French, has been chosen among the titles released in Spain in recent years that critics from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States and Brazil recommend to foreign publishers. The document, entitled New Spanish Books 2021−2022, is a tool designed by ICEX to promote Spain’s publishing industry in international markets. Jean Canavaggio, the author of the Diccionario, is one of the most internationally prestigious Cervantes scholars.
