Papet, Édouard
Édouard Papet is chief curator of Sculpture at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. His research focuses on 19th-century polychrome sculpture (Carriès, Cordier, Daumier, Gauguin, Gérôme), as well as on the reception and various revivals of ancient art in the 19th century. He participated in the exhibitions Tanagra: mythe et archéologie (2003) and Praxitèle (2007) held at the Louvre Museum. Before that, he was curator at the Galeries nationales du Grand Palais for the sculpture section of the Daumier exhibition.
