Bonet Correa, Antonio
Antonio Bonet Correa (1925–2020) was professor emeritus at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and director of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. He earned his degree in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Santiago de Compostela, studied at the Sorbonne, and was awarded a diploma in Museology from the École du Louvre. He has been director of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes in Seville and has taught at several Spanish universities. He has published many studies on town planning, the Spanish Baroque, and Spanish American art. In 2012 the Ministry of Education and Culture awarded him the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts.
