Meadows Museum, Dallas
The CEEH supports through the Center for Spain in America the pre-doctoral curatorial fellowship of the Meadows Museum, SMU. Since 2011, pre-doctoral fellowships provide an intensive scholarly, professional experience with the opportunity to research Spanish art at the Meadows and other national and international institutions. Established in 1965 by Texas philanthropist and oil financier Algur H. Meadows, the Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University houses one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of Spanish masterpieces outside of Spain. The Meadows Museum collection includes masterpieces by Dalí, El Greco, Goya, Miró, Murillo, Ribera, and Velázquez.
