Baer, Ronni
Ronni Baer received her PhD from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and is senior curator of European Painting at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has published widely in the fields of Dutch, Flemish, and Spanish art and the history of collecting. Baer was responsible for the exhibitions The Poetry of Everyday Life (Boston, 2002), Rembrandt’s Journey (Boston and Chicago, 2003–04, with C. Ackley) and El Greco to Velázquez (Boston, 2008), for which she was awarded the Encomienda de la Orden de Isabel la Católica. She was also curator of Class Distinctions: Dutch Painting in the Age of Rembrandt and Vermeer (Boston, 2015–16).
