Bolaños Atienza, María
María Bolaños Atienza has directed the Museo Nacional de Escultura in Valladolid since 2008. She holds a degree in History and Romance Languages and a doctorate in Art History from the University of Valladolid, where she is a tenured lecturer. Her studies are focused on the history of collecting and museums, artistic heritage and the theory and history of sculpture. In 2011 she edited Alonso Berruguete y su obra, by R. de Orueta, and the latest exhibitions she has curated include Diálogos de lo sagrado (Valladolid, 2013) and Tiempos de melancolía. Creación y desengaño en la España del Siglo de Oro (Valladolid, 2015).
