The Wallace Collection, London
In 2017 the Wallace Collection created a curatorial assistant position sponsored by the CEEH to strengthen the curatorial team and specifically its research activities in the field of Spanish painting. It is envisaged as a training opportunity for someone with little experience of museum work but with a formal academic training, and is designed to encourage an early-stage researcher to engage with museum objects and produce new research. This two-year position is named after Enriqueta Harris Frankfort, a leading authority on Spanish painting in the UK.
